Strip splicing is one of those tasks requiring great skill and precision on the part of the operator. Without it, tediousness and quality are increased tenfold, leading to prolonged machine stoppages, loss of components and, consequently, lower productivity.

FUJI's automatic splicing unit automates this manual task. The quality of the splicing becomes stable, the time required for splicing is significantly reduced, and productivity is maintained.

Simply insert the old and new belts, and the machine takes care of the rest. The unit automatically detects the correct cutting position, positions and joins the 2 strips using FUJI splicing tape. This allows the FUJI machine to automatically detect the transition from the old tape to the new, enabling component verification and traceability.

This unit on wheels is equipped with a battery, making it completely mobile. Splicing can be carried out in front of the machine, without having to dismantle the feeder or stop production.
